EVRE One & EVRE Netra
Privacy policy

Last Updated: 23rd August 2026

EVRE's charging services are operated by Amplify Cleantech Solutions Private Limited ("EVRE", "we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you charge with us, why, and what you can do about it.

It covers the EVRE One app on Android and iOS and the EVRE web app at evrenetra.com/app. They are the same account and the same data, so the same policy applies whichever you use. Our terms of service are a separate document.

What we collect

  • Your mobile number, because it is how you sign in and how we reach you about a charge. Two separate services send you text messages on our behalf, and both receive your number to do it:

    • Google sends the sign-in code when you use the EVRE One app, through its Firebase service.

You can stop the charging messages by telling us, and you will still receive sign-in codes, because without those you cannot get into your account.

  • Your name and email address, if you give them. Your name appears on your charging records and is what our support team sees when you contact us.

  • Your charging history: which charger, when, how much electricity, how long, and what it cost.

  • Payments. Top-ups are processed by Razorpay. Your card, UPI or bank details are entered with Razorpay and never reach us or our servers. We receive only confirmation that a payment succeeded, its amount and its reference.

  • Your vehicles, if you add them: make, model and battery size. The battery size is what lets us estimate how full your car is, since AC chargers cannot read it.

  • Your number plate, if you type it in. This is optional and you enter it yourself. It identifies your car on your own charging records, and at sites with camera equipped bays it is what lets a charger recognise your car. If you never enter it, everything else still works.

  • Your location, only while the app is open, to sort chargers by how close they are and to place them on the map. We do not track your location in the background and we do not keep a history of where you have been. The app works without it.

  • Your device's notification token, if you allow notifications, so we can tell you when a charge starts, finishes or fails.

  • An RFID tag number and a postal address, only if you are issued an RFID tag for a site that uses them. The address is used to post the tag and for nothing else.

  • Crash reports. If the app stops working unexpectedly, it sends us a report of what went wrong: the error, where in the app's code it happened, which screen you were on, the app version and your phone's operating system version. It carries nothing about you, not your number, your wallet, your vehicles or anything you have typed. Reports go to EVRE's own servers and to no one else. We use them only to fix the app, and we delete them after 90 days.

  • Your vehicle's registration number, if you give it. Optional. It is there so you can tell your own cars apart in the app and see which one a charge was for.

  • A notification token for your phone. If you allow notifications, your phone gives us an identifier that lets a message reach it — for example, to tell you a charge has started or finished. It identifies the phone, not you, we cannot read anything else with it, and refusing notifications means no token exists at all.

What we do not collect

We do not collect your contacts, your photos, your location in the background, or an advertising identifier. We do not track you across other apps or websites, we do not build advertising profiles, and we do not sell or rent your data to anybody for any purpose.

Your fingerprint or face never leaves your phone and we never see it. If you switch on the app lock, the check is done by your phone's own hardware, which tells EVRE One only whether it was you. No biometric data is read, stored or sent by this app.

Who else sees it

  • Razorpay, to take payments.

  • Google, to send your sign-in code by SMS and to deliver notifications.

  • SMS provider name, to send you text messages about your charging under EVRE's own DLT registration.

  • Amazon Web Services, who host our servers.

  • Your site's management, where you charge at a residential society or an office. They can see the charging and billing for their own site, which is how your bills get settled.

Nobody else, and we do not share your data for advertising.

Where it is kept

On servers in India, in Amazon Web Services' Mumbai region. Access is limited to EVRE staff who need it to operate and support the chargers. Changes staff make to your account, your chargers and your access are recorded in an internal log.

How long we keep it

Your account and its history stay while your account exists. After deletion, only the detached records described above remain, for as long as tax and electricity regulations require.

Charging and payment records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Crash reports are deleted after 90 days. Everything else is deleted when you delete your account.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from inside the app, or without installing it at evrenetra.com/delete-account. Deletion removes your name, mobile number and email address, your vehicles, and your access to any charger you control.

Charging and payment records we are legally required to keep are retained, but they are detached from your name, email and mobile number, so what remains is a record of electricity delivered rather than a record about you. Any unused wallet balance should be used or reclaimed before you delete, as it cannot be returned to you afterwards.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, and ask us to delete it. Write to the address below and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Children

EVRE One is not intended for anybody under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data about children. If you believe a child has given us their information, write to us and we will delete it.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top, and we will tell you in the app if the change affects what we collect or who sees it.
